Bridge The Gap Foundation

Bridge The Gap is a registered non profit organization (2021) aiming to bridge the divide between urban and rural children. Our primary objective is to provide quality education to rural children by catering to their individual needs with a focus on practical and experiential learning. Our initiatives span from early childhood to UG/PG, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses the diverse needs of learners. We collaborate with local communities, governments and like-minded partners to create a supportive ecosystem for rural education.

Shivraj V

Manager

Manager at BTG, Shivraj holds a Master's in Education from Azim Premji University Bangalore, specialising in Education Policy, Governance & school systems. He is an experienced CSR professional with a working background in NGO’s for education and development initiatives. He has been devoted to Bridge The Gap since the foundation was established.

Gauri Javeri

ECE Program Head

Gauri Javery is a qualified Early Childhood Education Consultant. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and more than 20 years of experience in the preschool sector, she is a change-maker who leads her team with full energy and confidence to deliver the key deliverables.

Anuradha Buddhi

Centre Program Head

Anuradha Buddhi is an Honours graduate in Mathematics from University of Delhi. She also holds an M.A. in English and B.Ed. She brings with her a vast experience of 25 years in K-12 education. She has held leadership positions in leading CBSE and Cambridge schools of Nagpur. As Centre Programme Consultant at BTG, she is implementing customised programmes.

Santosh Kapse

English Teacher

Santosh Kapse, a Chemical Engineer from the Technical Board of Education at Mumbai University,  serves as an English Teacher under the Bridge The Gap Foundation. He is successfully operating his Coaching Centre in Hingna, Nagpur. In addition to his coaching endeavors, Santosh has been actively involved in conducting Spoken English sessions in nearby villages and is adept in handling rural students.

Jayshreee Umate

Math Teacher

Jayshree Umate, a B.E. graduate, found her true calling in teaching rural children. She holds a postgraduate degree in Educational Administration and Management, along with a certification as an ECE trainer. With over four years of experience, she has been dedicated to one-on-one teaching and tutoring in mathematics, offering valuable support to students in need.

Yogini Zalke holds a Masters degree in science with a specialisation in Environmental Biotechnology. She teacher Science at BTG. Her commitment to the social and academic growth of every child underscores her belief in the holistic development of students. This commitment extends beyond just academic achievements, emphasizing the importance of social skills, emotional intelligence, and overall well-being.

Vishakha Umate

Ece Teacher

Qualified with an M.Sc. in Botany, Vishakha Umate is a passionate ECE teacher. Vishakha's qualifications, passion for teaching, and commitment to creating a supportive learning environment make her a valuable asset in the field of Early Childhood Education. Her work under the Bridge the Gap Foundation ensures that every child has the opportunity to thrive in their early years of learning.

Rajashree Khobragade

Ece Teacher

Rajshree is a science graduate working in the field of Early Childhood Education. She is shaping the minds of young learners and is actively involved in their growth and development. She sets an example by continuously aspiring to reach greater heights in self development and commitment to her work.

Hemlata is a teacher in the ECE program conducted by BTG. She an enthusiastic member of our team and is always ready to learn new methods. She helps the young learners understand the basics so that they are well prepared for studying in the ZP schools. She is passionate about fostering a positive environment where children develop a lifelong love for learning.

Vikas Maniyar

Vikas Maniar is a part-time faculty at the School of Education, TISS Mumbai. His research focuses on education policy, finance, administration, and the educational experiences of marginalized children. He teaches MA (Education) courses on policy and administration and is involved in two international research projects: Connected Learning for STEM, piloting tech-enabled teacher training in Bhuta, Nigeria, and Tanzania, and IFE LNOB, studying innovative education financing in India and Africa. Previously, he managed a large-scale FLN project in Karnataka. He also volunteers at a rural Adivasi school in Gujarat. Vikas holds a PhD from TISS and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Neeta Gupta | Bridge The Gap Foundation

Director and founder of Bridge The Gap Foundation, Mrs Neeta Gupta leads the organization with her extensive experience in the field. She is an MBA in Finance and Business Administration. Prior to founding Bridge The Gap Foundation in 2017, she has an experience over two decades in managing financial operations across various organizations.

Founder and Director of Bridge The Gap Foundation. Ms Garima holds a Master's in rural development from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai (TISS) highly experienced educator and served more than 5 years in social and education sectors. She is passionate about designing impactful and contextual interventions of multiple programs on the ground.
